Everything You Need to Understand About IBPS Clerk Admit Card

The IBPS exam is one of the most sought after exams in the country due to the vast career opportunities it offers. It is the go-to exam for anyone wanting to get into the banking sector. This year, the number of applicants reached 1.4 crores despite the disruption the pandemic has caused.

A couple of exams need to be cleared for becoming eligible to be interviewed. As with any exam, both require the candidate to possess an IBPS Clerk Admit Card to be permitted entry into the exam hall. They each have their versions, called call letters, that come with specific instructions on obtaining and using them.

Procedural Specifics About Obtaining Them

The instructions for gaining eligibility and procuring the IBPS Clerk Admit Card are available on the IBPS website. They can also be found elsewhere on third-party sites dedicated to information about this exam. Documents handed over during the application process will also contain these instructions.

Eligibility Clearance

The IBPS exam places a lot of emphasis on the types of candidates that can appear for it. The eligibility criteria reflect that sentiment, with the following boxes to be ticked by the candidate to gain it:

  • A  Bachelor’s degree in any stream of study is a must. The graduation certificate must be provided by a Government of India recognized institution.

  • The age range must be between 20 and over 28 years. Relaxations are provided for reserved category candidates.

  • The candidate must know all of the computer operations for the job and have a strong working knowledge. Relevant subjects like computer/IT should be present in their High School/College/Institute report card. Else, a Degree/Diploma/Graduate Certificate in Computer Operation/Language must be part of their application.

  • The proficiency in the local language of the state or territory the candidate intends to work in is also a must. The proficiency level expected is high in terms of reading, writing, and speaking.
