How to get Disney Plus for free

by Russell Crowe

Disney+ just launch with a massive library of TV shows and movies. As of now the service is only supported in US, Canada and Netherlands. which means you can’t watch outside of these countries. However we have found a way for you to watch your favorite shows on Disney plus in unsupported countries . The service costs $6.99 a month, or $69.99 for an annual subscription. If you can’t afford that or you want to test the streaming service before you subscribe, we have got you covered. In this post we have put together all the ways you can get Disney+ for free.

1. How to get Disney Plus for free: Seven-day trial

Disney+ offers a seven-day free trial period for anybody who wants to test the service before paying. This is the simplest way of checking out Disney Plus for free. All you have to do is sign up for the service and click on the free trial button to try it out. You can check out our tutorial on signing up for Disney plus for a detailed step by step breakdown of the sign up process.

Just sign up for the service, either with the monthly or annual plan, and you have seven days to try it out for free. Here’s how to sign up for Disney Plus:

2. One year for free for Verizon wireless and internet customers

Verizon Wireless is giving away a full year of Disney+ subscription for free to its unlimited wireless customers. The specific plans that will have the free year of the streaming service are  Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, Above Unlimited, Get More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, Play More Unlimited, and Start Unlimited. The free year is not available for prepaid plans, nor is it available for business wireless plans.

If you are a new Verizon Wireless customer, you can claim your free year of Disney Plus by creating and signing into your My Verizon account. You can do that either on the My Verizon web site or via the My Verizon app. Once you are signed up you should see the Disney Plus promotion. Click on the Get Disney+ selection and proceed through the normal signup process for the service.

New customers for Verizon’s consumer Fios internet service can also get the free year of Disney Plus. That’s also extended to new and current customers of Verizon’s 5G Home internet service. The bad news? Current Fios internet users are not eligible for the free Disney Plus year.

If you’ve already signed up for Disney Plus and happen to be a Verizon Unlimited customer, you can still get that free year. You can enroll for the free offer through Verizon, but it won’t automatically replace your previously purchased subscription. Verizon should send you an email with information about how to manage your pre-purchased Disney Plus subscription.
