Glow gets renewed for a fourth season

Netflix just renewed its ’80s-set dramedy GLOW for a fourth and final season. This stunning Ladies of Wrestling will hang up their boots after this one more run of the tv shows.
For those of you who don’t know what glow is, GLOW is an American comedy web television series first created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. On August 10, 2017, Netflix renewed the series for a second season of 10 episodes, which premiered on June 29, 2018. The series was renewed again on August 20, 2018, for a third season, which premiered on August 9, 2019. and now it ha been renewed for the fourth and final season
GLOW was praised by critics upon its release; with Season 1 receiving a 95% approval rating from review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, the site’s consensus being “With spot-on 1980s period detail, knockout writing, and a killer cast, GLOW shines brightly.”  Season 2 has a 98% approval rating, the site’s consensus being “Fearlessly led by its excellent ensemble, GLOW’s second season adds a new layer of drama without sacrificing its self-effacing, delightfully silly humor.” The third season had an 86% approval rating, the site’s consensus being “GLOW dives even deeper into the lives of its divas to deliver a knock-out third season that solidifies its place as one of TV’s most compelling—and hilarious—character studies.” The series has a Metacritic score of 81 out of 100, based on 37 critics
The show won its second Emmy last weekend for stunt coordination, while Betty Gilpin is among the supporting actress in a comedy nominees for Sunday’s Primetime Emmys. Netflix hasn’t revealed when you’ll get to see the final batch of GLOW episodes. However, judging by previous seasons, you might expect it to make a splash on your TV (or phone or tablet) again next summer.
